ROSSBURG -- Paul Edward Lawson, 91, a longtime resident of Rossburg, OH and Venice, FL, passed peacefully in the early morning hours of March 15, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. He was born on January 4, 1934, in Dayton, OH, to Clarence and Mary (Puterbaugh) Lawson and grew up near Union City. Paul married the love of his life, Joan L. (Shook) Lawson, and they raised five children in the Catholic faith. After building a beautiful life together and sharing more than 50 years of marriage, Joan entered eternal life. Always working to provide for his family, Paul was a farmer, owned Lawson Barber Shop in Fort Recovery, and eventually retired from the Mercer County Elks Golf Club. Known as a kind man and a friend to all, Paul had the most generous spirit. His family admired his thoughtful approach to all of life's challenges and respected the way he always found the path forward. Paul cherished the wonderful times spent with family and especially enjoyed the company of his many friends. He
