ARCANUM -- Marilyn May Rinehart, 87, of rural Arcanum, Ohio left her earthly home on August 15, 2024. Marilyn was born on May 8, 1937, in Laura, Ohio to the late Galen and Beatrice (Seman) Loxley. Marilyn was the second of seven children. Her siblings are Max (Therese), Rosemary, deceased (Jim), Kathe (Mel), Gail Ann, Mark (Pam) and John (Connie) and sister-in-law, Joyce. Marilyn enjoyed growing up on the farm outside of New Madison, Ohio, and raising Holstein cows, which included her favorite "Peggy", as well as participating in 4-H. Marilyn is survived by her loving husband, Richard Lee Rinehart, who was her high school sweetheart and the love of her life. Marilyn and Richard were blessed to celebrate 68 years of marriage. They were married on June 10, 1956, at the Castine Church of the Brethren. Marilyn is also survived by daughters Deb (Craig) VanCulin, Angie (John) Troutwine, and Amy (Tracy) Burns as well as grandchildren Laura (Steve) Mohr, Luke (Emily) VanCulin, Arthur (Briana)
